Marking the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley’s seminal work, Frankenstein AI: a monster made by many reimagines the Frankenstein narrative, recasting Shelley’s creature as a naïve, emotionally aware, and highly intelligent “life form” – an artificial intelligence.

Frankenstein AI’s initiative challenges the commonly dystopian narratives around artificial intelligence, seeking to provoke and broaden the conversation around the trajectory of this rapidly emerging technology.

Through performative and experiential media, join IFP, Playmatics, and the creators of Frankenstein AI as we create an immersive experience exploring themes drawn from the pages of Shelley’s novel and the facts of Shelley’s biography.

The first 20 people to sign up for the What's Now Talk 'Dissecting Frankenstein AI' on Tuesday, September 18, will be guaranteed entry into the interactive installation prototype. The installation will be free for other pass holders to sign-up on site, on a first come first serve basis. Limited capacity.
